The pylons will be 514 ft. high.

Length of the main span will be 1,320 ft.

Ship clearance will be 175 ft.

Foundations are built outside the waterway to minimize environmental impact as well as enable future channel widening.

The new bridge design reduces the grade, improves visibility and increases the posted speed limit.

Lighting will provide improved nighttime visibility and increased safety for drivers.

The shape of the pylon was selected with the driver’s perspective in mind.

Each bridge will have full shoulders on both sides. The shoulders will allow space for both emergency or stalled vehicles.

Each bridge will have four, 12 ft. lanes. This will double the existing lane capacity to meet future traffic demand.
